Splice is a cloud-based music creation platform and technology company that provides tools, sounds, and software for musicians, producers, and sound designers. For this project, Splice hired Forever Island to record and film six folkloric and indigenous rhythms of the Dominican Republic. 


My role on this project was to direct the film and design the social equity model –&#38;nbsp; intersecting music, education, and decolonizing practices. As the Director, my mission was to film the community, environment, and ceremonies with a lens of respect and admiration, creating a visual language rooted in tradition, bringing the sonic story to life.

Another core part of this project was to develop a sustainable, conscious, and ethical model of how Splice sources music and pays the musicians for the samples. Working with each community, we interviewed the cultural leaders in the regions, to gather their challenges and desires, and co-designed a model that fit within Spice’s internal stakeholder goals while supporting the community in their efforts to sustain their cultural and financial needs.

COMMON CITIZEN - CANNABIS FOR HUMANITY
Abouttime hired me as Executive Creative Producer for COMMON CITIZEN, a Michigan-based cannabis brand rooted in “Cannabis for Humanity.” After aligning with the brand’s ethos, I proposed a documentary as the campaign anchor: a portrait of Michigan communities whose relationship with the plant reflects the past, present, and future of the industry—its harms, its possibilities, and what equity can look like in practice



I partnered with brand leadership, agency teams, and production/distribution partners to align strategy, creative, and execution across deliverables, building a project designed to function as both a cultural artifact and a marketing engine.

The campaign included a 25-minute documentary short-film, a brand spot, a product spot, and a stills library to support the brand across platforms. For the documentary, I interviewed and filmed 15 Michiganders, tracing the plant’s role in their lives and shaping a visual tapestry of what “humanity” looks like across communities. To embody the mission materially, the team developed Principle—a pre-roll with 100% of profits reinvested into Michigan communities

					1-800-HAPPYBIRTHDAY is a voicemail project and interactive installation celebrating the Black and Brown lives killed by police, featuring 30 hours of voicemails for the families including Oscar Grant, Philando Castile, Mario Woods, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, and others. 

With support from art non-profit WORTHLESS STUDIOS, the project debuted as a Public Installation at the NADA Art Fair, featuring a phone booth donated by the city of New York. In the fall of 2022, an installation featuring 16 photo booths opened at the WORTHLESS STUDIOS gallery, marking the inaugural exhibition. 

My role was to gather stories, memorabilia, and emotional nuance from the families—especially the mothers—in the Bay Area. I held these materials with care and consent, and they informed the photobooths presented at NADA as part of the gallery exhibition. I spent time with mothers whose children were murdered and co-designed how they wanted their child’s legacy to be represented, creating a monument that centered their life, not the media’s portrayal of their death. I still carry those mothers stories with me.

	When Iranian-American theatre director Reza Abdoh died of AIDS-related complications in 1995 at just 32, he left explicit instructions that his work should never be performed again. In the decades that followed, his hallucinatory theatre largely survived at the margins—glimpsed through a small circulation of VHS recordings within experimental theatre circles.

Working across internal stakeholders (curatorial, design, and technical teams) and external partners (archivists, rights holders, and community collaborators), I helped build an experience that honored Reza’s legacy while engaging members of the queer and Iranian community to ensure the framing held cultural and political nuance with care.

The intersection of dance and film creates a visual language weaving together the mind, body, and spirit in an attempt to understand someone’s internal experience.


This short film was created out of pain following the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, a story that is perpetually told in America, to humanize and create imagery that is beautiful to balance what our consciousness is fed through the media.

Managed over 50 contributing designers and the styling team to ensure the costume design for Beyoncé and her 25 dancers was executed precisely and met the strict timeframe of the tour. The Styling Team was the creative dept. that executed all of the costumes on stage and the content during the performances. Working in the Costume Dept. we were simultaneously working on The Lemonade Film &#38;amp; all performance content.&#38;nbsp;

		<description>LA28 - OLYMPICS CAMPAIGN&#38;nbsp;

STINK STUDIOS brought me on to lead content creation for the LA28 Olympic Campaign. Building on the agency’s strategy, we produced an interview series called “A” Creators, spotlighting Angelenos, athletes, and artists as they reflect on their relationship to Los Angeles and the journeys that shaped them. Grounded in community, the series was designed to honor the city not as a single story, but as a living mosaic, layered, contradictory, and deeply interconnected.



As Creative Producer, I led the production of 22 interviews end-to-end: researching and developing interview prompts, conducting the interviews, setting the visual approach &#38;amp; on-set tone, and directing street casting to ensure the series felt authentically LA.
The interviews also helped shape the campaign’s evolving creative direction—bringing forward the textures, voices, and lived realities that define Los Angeles and clarifying how to represent the city’s complexity with nuance rather than cliché. I partnered with internal stakeholders (agency and LA28 teams) and external collaborators (directors, crew, and talent) to align creative, logistics, and approvals, and worked closely with the Films Team to produce the LA28 broadcast commercial.
